About us

History

Our company was founded in 1984 initially as a building locksmith’s store (DSH Pietschmann GmbH). In the course of changing requirements, we have developed into an efficient company with a focus on metal construction and welding technology. Only in 2011 we expanded our product range and since then we offer not only security technology both electronically and mechanically. In the course of this, we passed an examination at the Bavarian State Office of Criminal Investigation in 2013. Since then, we have been a „registered craftsman’s business in the current installer certificate for mechanical security devices of the Bavarian State Office of Criminal Investigation“.

Certifications

Furthermore, we are certified according to EN 1090-1 in connection with EN 1090-2 in Execution class 2. Better formulated, we have 12 valid welding examinations for various steels and non-ferrous metals in house. In addition to three master craftsman certificates and three international welding specialist certificates, we have also attended various courses/training. Thereby we have acquired certificates on opening techniques, security devices, alarm systems, gate acceptance
and other examinations.

Change of company name

In 2022 we moved to our new location in Regensburg together with our sister company Donauglas OHG and changed our company name from DSH Pietschmann GmbH to metallbau bauer-hemm GmbH

Equipment

The staff includes three industrial employees and one worker in the administrative area. On approx. 1000 square meters of hall space, we manufacture customer-specific products with state-of-the-art machinery. From small entrance railings or handrails to hall construction, we manufacture all our products in Regensburg. With our experience and the know-how of a now more than 35 years old tradition we are pleased to respond to all wishes and ideas of our customers. We are also happy to advise you and offer a wide range of individual solutions.
